Apologies for getting Stay Vigilant out late this week. With the holiday weekend, my travel schedule was a little busy.
I thought it would be better to share with you the Macro Matters webcast that I hosted for the CFA Society Chicago this week. I was joined by my colleagues from the CFASC - Monique Thanos and Tony Zhang - to discuss the recent inflation and retail sales data, what that meant for FOMC policy, and what that meant for long duration assets. Monique is a quantitative finance expert and Tony is a well-regarded data scientist. Both are veterans of the investing landscape and bring different and unique perspectives. I really enjoyed the conversation.
